WMU athletics has provided an update to season ticket holders after the Mid-American Conference’s decision to cancel athletic competitions for the fall season.
The school also announced the cancellation of the annual Kickoff Luncheon, CommUniverCity and Indoor Tailgate, as those events center around the football season.
Season ticket holders who have renewed for the 2020 season have three options regarding their previous payments:
Apply your season ticket payment to future games at Waldo Stadium
Convert your season ticket payment to a tax-deductible gift to the Mike Gary Athletic Fund
A full refund
There is no current deadline to make a decision. The canceled annual events are scheduled to return in 2021. For questions about seating contributions or the Mike Gary Fund, WMU athletics is encouraging people to contact Jared Willis at firstname.lastname@example.org.
