WMU men's soccer continues to recruit the best talent in Michigan

Mike Melaragni

WMU men's soccer announced it was adding junior forward Mike Melaragni to its captains list on Thursday.

Melaragni appeared in 11 games last season, starting eight, for the Broncos. He scored two goals and added two assists, bringing his career totals to five goals and four assists in 31 games.

"Mike has the respect from all his teammates and coaches," said head coach Chad Wiseman. "He is a hard-working, driven, team first type of guy. He understands and values all phases of our program. Mike wants the responsibility that comes with being a captain for our program and I am certain he will excel in this role."

In addition to his success on the field, Melaragni was an Academic All-MAC honoree last year. He joins Caden Jackman and Brendan Skinner as captains.
