The Broncos play Kent State tonight on ESPN2

Zach Terrell and Jarvion Franklin run a read option.

On Saturday, Oct. 10 at 6:30 p.m. EST, ESPN+ will be showing a re-run of the 2016 Mid-American Conference Football Championship game featuring Western Michigan and Ohio.

WMU beat the Bobcats 29-23 in that game to win its first conference title since 1988. The game also set a record attendance for a MAC title game as 45,615 fans filled Ford Field in Detroit.

The victory for the No. 13 Broncos secured its first and only perfect 13-0 regular season in program history. This would earn the Broncos a bid to the 2017 Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic against Wisconsin in which WMU eventually fell short, losing to the Badgers 24-16.

WMU’s offense was nothing less than explosive against Ohio as it racked up 404 total yards of offense. The future No. 5 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft Corey Davis caught eight passes for 144 yards and one touchdown.

ESPN+ is an internet only streaming site and is not included in cable packages, which is separate from ESPN 3. ESPN+ can be purchased for $5.99 a month through the ESPN app.

Gotta get back to the D for MACC Game. Any tv coverage for Broncos announced? Might have to park near Waldo just to listen to game sounds
