Logan Case was named MAC West Setter of the Week for her role in the Broncos' sweep of Akron this weekend. It was the fifth time this season that Case had earned the honor for Western Michigan volleyball.
In Friday's series opener, Case handed out 55 assists and made 13 digs for double-double No. 14 on the season. Saturday, she earned 45 more assists in a three-set sweep of the Zips.
Case boosted her season assist total to 1181, good for second-most in the country. Her assists per set average is up to 11.69, third-most in the NCAA this year.
The Broncos finish off the regular season Wednesday at Northern Illinois at 7 p.m. Case and WMU will then head to the MAC tournament Sunday through Tuesday at Ball State.
