WMU Football Bryce Nunnelly

The Western Michigan wide receiver room is getting even more depth for 2021. Bryce Nunnelly, a two-time first team All-Southern Conference player, announced his transfer to WMU on Friday via Twitter.

Nunnelly, from Cleveland, Tenn., is also a two-time Academic All-Southern Conference honoree during his time at Chattanooga and was a CoSIDA Academic All-American in 2019.

Chattanooga only played one game in 2020 with the FCS season postponed to the spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic, when they traveled to Western Kentucky. Nunnelly had three receptions for 28 yards in that game.

In 2019, Nunnelly had 57 catches for 794 yards and five touchdowns after a huge sophomore season in 2018. That year, he posted 79 catches for 1237 yards and seven touchdowns. In his career at Chattenooga, he made 146 catches for 2148 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Nunnelly joins a great group of wideouts for the Broncos headlined by 2020 second team All-MAC honoree Skyy Moore and third team All-MAC recipient Jaylen Hall.
