President Joe Biden is expected to visit Pfizer’s plant in Portage this week, per a tweet from a White House spokesperson.

Senior Associate Communications Director Matt Hill tweeted Friday, Feb. 12, that Biden would visit the plant Thursday, saying he would meet with employees producing the COVID-19 vaccine.

It is unknown who will accompany Biden to Pfizer’s plant, or if Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will join him.

Biden said Thursday, Feb. 11, that the U.S. will have enough COVID-19 vaccine supply by

July to inoculate 300 million Americans.
