Sindecuse Health Center

Sindecuse Health Center.

Western Michigan University’s Sindecuse Health Center opened eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine to dependents of students, faculty, staff and retirees.

This comes from a significant amount of Pfizer vaccines left over from this week’s vaccine clinic at the Student Recreation Center, said Joe VanDerBos, patient experience manager. He added it is unlikely to run out by mid-week next week.

He also said there is a remote possibility an appointment could be canceled if supply changes or if demand is not enough to fill available spots.

Dependents under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by a parent as well. Those will also have to receive a second dose as Pfizer is a two-dose vaccine.

Appointments are available through Sindecuse as supplies last. Those who want to book an appointment can call the health center at 269-387-3287.
