Meijer Pharmacies announced it was offering limited walk-in clinics for the COVID-19 vaccine to everyone.

Meijer Pharmacies is now offering limited walk-in clinics for the COVID-19 vaccine, per a press release from the store.

The program will be available at all stores using the Pfizer and Moderna vaccine. Every Meijer will have a minimum of 100 doses of either per week. Doses will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis.

“When the vaccine rollout began, we were focused on moving as quickly as possible to keep our communities safe,” said Meijer President Rick Keyes. “Achieving this number in just over three months is a true demonstration of the focus and tenacity of the Meijer team members involved in this important initiative.”

Meijer began to open vaccine clinics mid-January, after being named a Federal Retail Pharmacy Partner in the State of Michigan. Since then, the retailer has conducted thousands of in-store vaccine clinics.

While limited vaccines will be available through walk-in, people interested in getting the vaccine can still register for an appointment by texting COVID to 75049. People can also visit the Meijer website to schedule an appointment.
