WeVote at WMU

WeVote will be hosting voter registration tables on campus tomorrow in recognition of National Voter Registration Day.

WeVote is a student organization with the goal of promoting voter registration and education on-campus. Members will be tabling at the Bernhard Center, Flag Poles, Waldo Library, Miller Auditorium and Valley Dining Center.

Last year WeVote registered around 1,500 people on campus. As election season rolls around once again, WeVote is again hosting a multitude of events to encourage civic engagement. Earlier this month WeVote held a watch party for the third Democratic debate. On Oct. 1 the organization will be co-sponsoring a City Commission candidates' forum at Schneider Hall.
