Western Michigan announced on Monday the 39th annual Bronco Bash will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 3 to 7 p.m. on the Sangren Pedestrian Mall.
Businesses, registered student organizations and other local organizations will table the event the day before classes begin as a symbolic kick-off to the new school year. Different departments of the University will be on hand at the largest event on campus to offer information to new and returning students and alumni.
With an estimated 15,000 students and community members in attendance every year, free t-shirts, coupons, and prizes are sure to appear at some of the more than 450 booths.
Bronco Bash which is coordinated by the Office of Student Engagement, is one of the best ways to connect students other students and to the WMU community at large.
Local bands and DJs will provide live entertainment while food will be available to purchase.
