For the fourth year in a row, the three-day country music festival, Faster Horses, will take place on July 14-17 at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, MI.
FasterHorses greets all ages to the country music phenomenon. Each year, the track turns into something different than a racecar stadium. The festival is set up along the popular rolling Irish Hills of Brooklyn. If you want to have access to the campgrounds themselves, you have to purchase a festival pass. The event is rain or shine, according to Faster Horses website.
Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Sam Hunt and Eric Church will headline the 2016 music festival. Other artists performing at the festival include John Pardi, David Nail, Travis Tritt, Gary Allan, Granger Smith, Joe Nichols and Big And Rich, Locash, A Thousand Horses and much more. According to the Faster Horses website, the lineups and set times are subjected to change.
The doors to the revenue will open at 6 p.m. on Thursday and the first artist, Audrey Ray, performs at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Bear Creek Brothers. The festival features two stages, the main stage, where the more well-known artists will be performing, and the “Next From Nashville” stage, which features new and upcoming artists.
Festival Passes do not include camping. Camping passes range from $199-$1600 with various campgrounds and sites, including VIP packages. Single-day tickets will not be sold this year for the first time, according to FasterHorses website.
Attendance has increased annually every year, hitting over 40,000 in 2015, the cap imposed by festival producers to ensure that the event could handle the growing volume, according to the Detroit Free Press. Expected capacity for 2016 will be most likely expanded well beyond the 40,000 mark, due to the festival's fast growing popularity.
The Michigan International Speedway premise offers neat scenery to the music festival. In the revenue, the music festival features multiple activities to do as well. Faster Horses will feature a giant waterslide, foam parties, the faster humans race, campsite contests, the Budweiser kick off party, the faster horses market, henna tattoos, go-karts, Ferris wheel, vertigo swings and Malibu rum beach party, according to Faster Horses website.
This year no paper tickets will be shipped out for 2016. Attendees will receive a wristband in the mail before the festival. This wristband will serve as your ticket, and all sales are final. No refunds or exchanges, according to Faster-Horses's website.
Wristband registration will be required for entry this year you can register your wristband online at the Faster-Horses website. Wristbands will be void if tampered with or removed; they cannot be replaced, transferred, or exchanged at any time, for any reason, according to Faster-Horses website.
