Crazy Sticky “Bat” Wings

Ingredients:

3 lbs. chicken wings

Ingredients for Marinade:

2½ cups ketchup
5 tbs honey
2tbs sugar
2½ tbs brown sugar
1½ tbs vinegar
2tbs dried oregano
2tbs chopped garlic
2tbs chopped onions
3tbs olive oil/vegetable oil
salt and pepper to taste
black and green food coloring
*add 2-4tbs of hot sauce for a little kick

Instructions:

1. Combine all ingredients for marinade in a large mixing bowl.

2. Add enough black and green food coloring to your liking, the darker it is the better.

3. Add the chicken wings to the marinade and stir well, making sure to coat all the chicken wings with the marinade.

4. Cover the mixing bowl with foil or plastic wrap and marinate the chicken wings in the fridge for 2 – 24 hours. The longer the better the wings will taste.

5. Preheat the over to 325 F. Take the wings out and place them on a large baking sheet with foil.

6. Bake wings for about an hour, or till cooked through. Baste chicken every 20 minutes with marinade to keep wings moist.

7. Take wings out of the oven and serve.
