Take a break, have a drink
As you read this, I’m on my way to sunny Florida to forget about my hectic life at Western by relaxing near the ocean. My Grandma, who is playing hostess for the week, has already baked my favorite cookies (molasses) and stocked up on Diet Coke to prepare for my visit. When we’re not reading the latest Danielle Steel books or shopping at the local Jewish thrift stores, we’ll be sitting in the driveway enjoying happy hour with our family and the neighbors.
Here is a selection of tropical drinks to try over spring break if you’re on the beach or stuck in the snow.
