Women’s soccer season ends with 1-0 loss to CMU

The Western Michigan University women’s soccer team ended its season Sunday, one‑and‑done, in the quarterfinals of the Mid‑American conference tournament.

The Lady Broncos couldn’t seem to produce many goals over the second half of the season, and it took them out of the playoffs today, as the hosting Central Michigan University Chippewas, shutout the Brown & Gold, 1‑0. The Broncos only managed two shots on goal the entire contest.

The game marked the second 1‑0 loss to the Chippewas in the last two weeks. The Broncos finish the regular season 6‑7‑5, before they were eliminated Sunday.
