Saturday night at Lawson Ice Arena was not as good to the No. 6 Western Michigan University hockey team and their fans as they failed to sweep the weekend series against No.3 Miami (Ohio).

WMU showed off their new jerseys in support of cancer awareness Saturday night at Lawson/Rob Wetterholt Western Herald.
The Broncos (18-7-5, 14-5-3-1) failed to score in the 0-4 loss to the Redhawks (18-7-5, 13-5-4-4), after holding them scoreless in a 2-0 victory the night before.
WMU was in first place in the CCHA by itself, briefly, after Friday night’s win, only to have it ripped away from them by Miami with the loss Saturday night.
Next up for the Broncos is a weekend series against Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio Feb 15-16.
