WMU golfers compete at Michigan PGA women’s tournament
Four Bronco golfers recently finished competing at the Michigan PGA Women’s Open. The tournament took place at Crystal Mountain Resort in Frankfort, Mich. on July 14. Stephanie Koske, Leah Grawburg, Heather Marks and Melissa Beurmann all represented the Broncos in the competition
Koske raised her scores daily throughout the three-day tournament. Her highest score came on the final day of the tournament when she shot a 73, one over par.
Grawburg also improved each day at the tournament, finishing with a 233 (+17). Grawburg saved her best performance for the final day, when she shot a 75, three over par.
Marks delivered a steady showing, ending the tournament with an overall score of 238. Her best showing came on the second day of the tournament, shooting a 78.
Buermann finished one stroke behind Koske, ending with a 231. Buermann shot a four-over 76 on the first and last day of the competition.
