West receives MAC weekly award

Western Michigan University senior running back Brandon West was named Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career.

West rushed for 153 yards with three touchdowns in WMU’s 58-26 win over the University of Toledo Saturday night.  He also threw for a touchdown to become the fifth Bronco to record 3,000 career yards.

Saturday night was only the second time in his career that West has rushed for two touchdowns and the first time he rushed for three.
