Want a chance to send senior goalie of the Western Michigan University hockey team Riley Gill out in style?

Then vote for him in the NCAA Frozen Four Skills Challenge.

The Frozen Four Skills Challenge will be held April 9 at Ford Field in Detroit and will highlight the “Friday Night at the Frozen Four.” At the event, there will also be a presentation of the Hobey Baker Memorial Award, the Hockey Humanitarian Award and the announcement of the American Hockey Coaches Association All-American teams.

Gill is currently fifth in WMU history in games played among goaltenders with 102, putting him only four games behind third place, currently held by Jeff Reynaert with 106.

By the end of the 2009-10 season, Gill could finish with a Western Michigan University record for save-percentage in a career with .914.

He also holds a school record for most shutouts in a career and is sixth all-time in WMU history with 37 wins and will surpass Brian Renfrew with three more wins this season.
