Men’s basketball Vs. IUPUI blog

   The Broncos fought their way back from a 19 point second half deficit to get within 4 of IUPUI but didn’t have quite enough to take the lead as they lost 68-76 Saturday at University Arena. The Jaguars shot lights out in the second half shooting 73% from the field. Point Guard Gary Patterson in his first game back after breaking his wrist earlier in the year lead IUPUI with 16 points. LeRoy Nobles added 15 going 4-6 from three. Martelle McLemore, Shawntes Gary and David Kool each had 15 for the Broncos.

  It’s halftime at University Arena and the Western Michigan men’s basketball team is losing to IUPUI 28-24. David Kool and Martelle McLemore lead the Broncos with 6 points each and Alex Young leads the Jaguars with 7 points.
