Giden wins MAC weekly award

Sophomore forward Miame Giden has been named Mid-American Conference Player of the Week.

This is the first time Giden has the won the honor in her career after she helped Western Michigan University knock off Southern Illinois University Wednesday night with 31 points.

Giden is averaging 19.0 points per game so far this season.
