Connauton drafted by Canucks

Kevin Connauton’s dream of playing professional hockey became a reality on Saturday morning.
Connauton, a sophomore defenseman on the Western Michigan University hockey team, was drafted in the third round by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2009 NHL Draft.
He scored seven goals and 11 assists last season and was named Central Collegiate Hockey Association All-Rookie team honorable mention.
