When the runners, walkers and spectators all file in, over 1,500 people are expected to turn out for Saturday’s Campus Classic, according to a Western Michigan University news release.

The 5K course will weave its way around West Campus. The course will begin at the Bernhard Center and will move north between Sangren and Henry halls, where it will merge onto Rankin Avenue. It will detour past Schneider Hall and continue south past Miller Auditorium.
Runners will then pass Ernest-Burnham, Davis, and McCracken Halls on the final stretch back to the Bernhard Center.
The 1K course will also begin at the Bernhard Center and proceed west toward the flagpoles, where it will curve south and circle around the Chemistry Building and back to Bernhard.
All participants will also receive complimentary T-shirts and refreshments.
