Armer named MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week

Sophomore punter Ben Armer has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Special Teams Player of the Week.

Armer had five punts for an average of 41.2 yards, three of which were inside the 20-yard line, in Western Michigan University’s 33-17 to Ball State University Tuesday night.

The Janesville, Wis. native also had a season-high punt of 52 yards in the loss to the Cardinals.
