Quotes & Comments: Ashley Wioskowski on Sarah Palin
“Is it any wonder that many of the sick and elderly are concerned that the Democrats’ proposals will ultimately lead to rationing of their health care by-dare I say it-death panels? Establishment voices dismissed that phrase, but it rang true for many Americans.” – Former Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin said in Facebook post.
Regardless that I think you have no credibility in anything you say Sarah Palin, if I were you, I’d leave my thoughts of Facebook.
I’d like to forget you, and everything that you’ve ever contributed vocally. And electronically.
Second, where did all this propaganda come about death panels?
In trying to search for a solution about the nation’s health care rather then ignoring any pro-active attempt to it, the nation has slowly turned paranoid.
Now that the government has finally searched into finding a solution, that so many have begged for, Americans would rather complain and invent propaganda to scare one another.
Nothing is ever entirely fair, and in a country where the middle class is close to extinct, we watch each other day every day because of lack of health care, and yet, that is the better solution?
Why would the government make an attempt to help other Americans, and let the old die? Why would they attempt at a solution that would just kill others?
Innocent Americans are going bankrupt everyday and people are suffering because they can’t even afford medication as it is.
And even health care benefits out there are dwindling, as government funds run short.
By never examining a different solution, the problem only continues to grow, and yet, everyone is content.

So counter productive!
Sarah Palin-Tonya Harding 2012!
“-Ashley Wioskowski, the Western Herald editor in chief is a junior majoring in journalism however she should probably try to hook up with some rich old liberal man and get flabby the safe way. Due to the fact that her juvenile, hateful, and ignorant rants cannot be classified as “journalism”. She can be reached at herald-editor@wmich.edu.”
~Sorry for the plagiarism but I knew you wouldn’t mind, ala Joe Biden.
Ashley, you are a tiny little person. You lack the capacity to see the nature of the picture that is been painted in this country today. Either that or you are a died in the wool Communist\Marxist like Barry O.
“Now that the government has finally searched into finding a solution, that so many have begged for, Americans would rather complain and invent propaganda to scare one another.” What in the hell are you babbling about? So many Americans have begged for, or is it illegal aliens perhaps? Here you are complaining and inventing propaganda in this ridiculous column, why should anyone else act differently than you? Besides, there is no need to invent propaganda to scare anyone. All you need to do is take a look at Socialized medicine around this sick little planet. Lower quality health care, expanded Government power, longer lines, rationing, that is what you will find when you look. And, I mean really look, not just stare down your nose lady.
“Regardless that I think you have no credibility in anything you say Sarah Palin, if I were you, I’d leave my thoughts of Facebook.”
Holy crap! You some heap good writer! If I were you, Ashley I would leave my thoughts in my vapid little head where they belong.
Ashley,
Good for you. What you expressed is your opinion and contrary to what the idiots above wrote, you are entitled to it. This is after all a free country.
wow. Give her a break. This is an opinion piece. If any of you have actually read any other part of the Herald that features her writing you’d know she’s a great writer and journalist. So you don’t agree with her, so what? Get a life. I’d like to try and see you do a better job. If you’re going to criticize her, at least do it intelligently without sounding like a total moron.
Oh, so what your saying is it is okay for her to have an opinion but no one else here can? Oops, except for Michelle and Ray. It is rather obvious after all, anyone that disagrees with someones opinion must be an idiot or a moron.
Joe, you are a tiny person. Someone posted an opinion piece. The first thing you do is insult them and cry Marxism in typical republican fashion.
It should probably be noted that she is a witch, too. Right?
Did you think that would reach people?
And maybe this isn’t a huge problem for you, but some people WILL NEVER receive health care without the help of the government. Should those people be sacrificed because people like you are afraid of some Red Dawn 2: Electric Boogaloo crap?
Who are you to come insult a person in this way? Going so far as to tear a person down for grammar? You are a tiny person.
Who has begged for different health care? EVERYONE WHO CAN’T AFFORD IT! and thats a lot of people. Thats why its and issue…
And you accuse another person of not having the “capacity to see the nature of the picture that is been painted.”
what is the picture that “is” been painted, Joe?
I bet you thought there were weapons of mass destruction too.
YOU are a tiny person.
also, shes a terrorist
There is no constitutional right to health care. Therefore if you are inclined to donate your money to the “cause celebre” then please feel free. I however do not feel the need to supplement the handouts to a MINORITY of people in this country who can not afford health care INSURANCE.
Anyone in this country can walk into an emergency room and receive treatment for life threatening illness or injury, regardless of their social status or even citizenship. This is a major part of the problem with rising health care costs today. So we have established the fact that everyone can receive health care.
Insurance on the other hand is something optional to people whom can afford it. I have been poor and homeless, yet somehow managed to bring myself up in the world. I did not rely on the entitlement system that has handicapped generations of once strong Americans, instead I went to work. If that job was not sufficient to meet my financial needs then I learned new skills and got a better job.
You Jake, are a brush stroke in the picture to which I referred. A picture that shows a weak America full of weak minded people. This country was built on sacrifice by the way, by people who never heard of health care insurance I might add. They didn’t whine and cry and force territorial governors to take money from other Americans in order to get money to plant farm land. They didn’t get government checks for disabilities. They were blessed to live in a country that gave them a chance at a better life.
Even now those chances for a better life still exist, if they choose to act towards that resolution the may succeed. Or, they may in fact fail miserably, and lose everything. It is all part of the pursuit Jake. PURSUIT. Get it there is no guarantee beyond that, only the pursuit.
If you prefer your new vision of America, then move somewhere else. Try Cuba, you freakin nut.
