Life provides us with people we can never forget
In the journey of life, we meet a lot of people who we cannot forget.

Hassan Al-Momani
This kind of person has a distinguished ability to become eternal in our memories and minds. They influence our characters and emotions unconsciously. They have this charisma that makes them
the most favorite and influential people in our life. However, the question that remains in our minds is why can’t we forget this kind of person?
The answer of this question is not complicated if we know why we love and appreciate them.
The first part of the answer is that what makes us love this kind of person is their sense of humanity, which is the most valuable thing we have in life. Humanity makes us friendly and lovely for all the people around us.
If we lose it, we become senseless people without the ability to be influential in life. We should go back to our sense of humanity because it is the light inside ourselves that makes us love and appreciate each other.
The second part of the answer is that this kind of person has a good spiritual side to their personality.
They love the good for all the people around them; they do not harm the emotions of others. When you look at them deeply, you feel that there is a great power and a secret that attach you to them.
It is the power of magnetic attraction that makes our souls love their souls. Thus, we love what they love, we imitate their behaviors and their way of thinking.
When we listen to their speech, we understand every word and we do not see their mistakes even though they are clear to us. All this admiration of this kind of person comes from the spiritual harmony between their souls and ours.
Additionally, this kind of person has the emotional intelligence which is needed for the success of our social relations.
Few people have this kind of intelligence, which is not acquired by studying at a university.
It is acquired from the school of life, from our sense and understanding of humanity, from our healthy upbringing that influences our characters positively and from the beauty of our souls that makes us respect others and understand the meaning of cultural diversity.
From my point of view, emotional intelligence is more important than scientific intelligence because it makes us successful and influential in this short journey of life.
There are a lot of people who have distinguished academic abilities, but they miss the ability to eternalize their personalities and even their knowledge. Thus, I do not believe in the knowledge when it is separated from its real meaning, which is to educate humanity and to be a human first.
Furthermore, having the ability to understand others’ cultures, ideologies and traditions is another reason why we cannot forget this kind of person.
We are all destined to be different in this life and complementary to each other. We all have some parts of the truth, but we do not have the entire whole.
I came to the United States to learn parts of the truth and to transmit them to my people because we are humans in need of each other.
We need to come together to exchange the valuable things we have. We should not look at others as inferior people to us.
Thus, I think that opening our minds to our cultural differences and knowing how to respect peoples’ cultures are very important elements in making us lovely, influential and friendly in the eyes of others.
Based on the long answer of this question and on the distinguished characteristics of these kind of people, we cannot forget Sara Waisanen, the editor in chief of the Western Herald, who has left in all of us the enjoyable memories that cannot be forgotten for good.
All the students of WMU should remember and thank Sara, who is a human in all the senses of the word. She was the messenger and the pulse of the truth in all of her journalistic writings.
We have all benefited from her opinions directly and indirectly because she has worked silently behind the scenes. Thus, because we are all memories in this life, Sara will be an eternal memory in our minds.
We have to welcome our new Editor in Chief Ashley Wioskowski, who will enrich our Western Herald newspaper with her valuable and distinguished knowledge and charisma.
