Although the polls close in less than 24 hours, there’s still plenty of time for you vote for who you want to represent Western as this year’s Homecoming king and queen.
You may already know a little about bit about the eight men and women who are contending for the crowns, either from your own interactions with them on campus or through their court profiles posted on the site earlier in the week. However, those who need a little more convincing before casting their ballot are in luck, as the Western Herald spoke with all eight candidates and asked them why they deserve the royal title of 2012 Homecoming King or Queen.
Best of all, we got them all on camera, so you can hear their arguments directly, completely unfiltered. Take a look in our video below:
Still not enough? We also shot longer interviews with each one of the candidates, asking them how WMU has shaped their lives and what was the moment they were proudest to call themselves a Bronco. We’ve complied a playlist of each of these segments, which can be seen below:
To cast your vote for this year’s Homecoming king and queen, visit the online ballot box located on the WMU 2012 Homecoming webpage. Voting closes tomorrow at noon.
Pick up the Homecoming edition of the Western Herald if you haven’t already, which is available in news racks throughout campus. Also, remember to keep checking the WesternHerald.com, as we continue to post new Homecoming content throughout the rest of the week.
