Seasonal flu, meningitis vaccine clinics announced

Sindecuse Health Center has announced their schedule for administering seasonal influenza and meningitis vaccines.
Vaccinations will be available at SHC Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. and on Thursdays from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.
Both influenza and meningitis vaccinations will be available at the following clinics:
• Thursday, Oct. 8, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in room 1219 at the Aviation Education Center, College of Aviation, Battle Creek, Mich.
• Tuesday, Oct. 13, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Student Commons at the College of Health and Human Services.
• Thursday, Oct. 15, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the upper level of Sindecuse Health Center.
• Tuesday, Oct. 20, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., in room 157 of the Bernhard Center.
• Tuesday, Nov. 10, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the indoor tennis courts of Student Recreation Center.
The meningitis vaccines will cost $108.
The seasonal flu vaccine will cost $18 for WMU students and $25 for employees who are not eligible for benefits.
The vaccine will be free for employees who receive benefits and retirees who are on medicare.
Students can charge the cost of the vaccines to their student accounts; checks and cash are also available. Credit cards are accepted at SHC.
A separate vaccine for H1N1 will be available in late October.
