Police are investigating the death of a WMU senior in Allegan County.

Police found the burned body of Brandon David Silverlight, 25, of South Haven, near a burned car on the side of a dead-end road in the 400 block of 74th Street in Casco Township Saturday.

Silverlight’s death has been ruled a homicide but no other details have been released, police said.

Silverlight had senior status at WMU and was a music major in the pre-music education program, Cheryl Roland, Executive Director of University Relations, said.
