(Photo Gallery) Students brave the freezing weather to celebrate MLK Day

Erin Gignac
Editor-in-Chief

The annual march for Martin Luther King Jr. Day started with a few changes.

Instead of the traditional walk to Kalamazoo College, students were shuttled downtown because of the wind chill of less than seven degrees. Two buses filled with Western Michigan University students met with the Kalamazoo College students near Bronson Park for a mini-march.

More events focusing on racism and diversity are being held on Thursday to wrap up the events surrounding MLK Jr. Day.
