OWI crash near WMU

A vehicle traveling south on Howard Street near Michigan Avenue hit four parked cars at Campus Pointe Mall after leaving the roadway at around 9:40 a.m. Saturday, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.

The 20-year-old driver, a Kalamazoo resident, received minor injuries and was treated and released at a local hospital.

Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety police said that alcohol was a factor and arrested the driver for Operating While Intoxicated.
