Western women’s softball team defeats Ohio in first home double header

The Western Michigan women’s softball team swept Ohio University 4-0 in the first game, and in the second game 3-1. Sophomore Lexi Jager had a three run homerun bringing in senior Amanda McBride, and junior Meghan Thomas to bring their lead over Ohio 3-1 early in the second inning. Meghan Thomas took the second game win at the mound. The Broncos are now 2-0 in their MAC-Conference, and will hope to keep their winning streak going against Akron tommarow at 2 p.m.
