The Broncos Lady Basketball team wins second game in a row.
The Broncos went into halftime eager to win their second and final game against MAC-East competitors, and Akron just happened to be the team that the Broncos needed to beat. The Broncos finished the game ahead of Akron by 14 points, 61-47. Today the Broncos went into this game ready to win, and raise awarness for Breast Cancer, and they did just that. In today’s game it was more about who could step up, and rack in some points and three people did that with flying colors. Jenny Loney finished the game with 13 points, and her fellow post players Ebony Cleary and Sara Vest followed her lead in racking in the points. Vest finished with 11 points, and Cleary finished the night with 10 points. The Broncos have a week off before they go back on the road to take on Toledo in Toledo at 2 p.m a week from today, Saturday, February 21st.
