Miami of Ohio has a strong second half that leads to the Broncos 16th loss of the season
The Broncos went into halftime only down by three, and continued to play catch up for the rest of the second half until the clock ran out, and the RedHawks took the win by six points, 69-63. The Broncos are now on a three game loosing streak, and will hopefully end their loosing streak this Saturday at 12 p.m on national television. The key to the Broncos 7th MAC loss was turnovers, they ended the night with almost double than the RedHawks who finished with only 11 turnovers while the Broncos finished with 20. The Broncos did end the night with some positives. Brenna Banktson achieved her 500th career point, and attributed 14 points, and seven rebounds. Brenna’s cousin Jenny Loney played a season high 29 minutes, and finished with nine points, and nine rebounds. The Broncos will play against MAC-East competitors Bowling Green, and the game will be shown on ESPNU for the pack the house challenge here in Kalamazoo at 12 p.m.
