Ball State defeats Western Women’s basetball with seconds remaining

The Broncos came out of halftime ready to play, and keep their lead against the Cardinals. For most of the 2nd half the Broncos did just that until their was little time remaining, and the Cardinals lob passes to Amber Clark gave them a 4-0 run. With 7 seconds remaining Brenna Banktson took a three pointer to tie the game 70-70, but her shot was quickly stuffed, and the Cardinals took their second win in their conference 70-67. For the second year and a row the Cardinals Audrey Mcdonald lead her team in three pointers, and in points made; making 5 threes, and ending the game with 19 pts. The Broncos Tiera DelaHoussaye lead the Broncos yet again today with 19 pts. The Broncos go on the road this week to take on Mac Conference competitors Northern Illinois and Central Michigan.
